[M4IF Technotes] Multiple Tracks + n hint tracks!

Hi, 
I was just wondering, 
if I have a file with, for example, 3 video tracks and one hint track, is this hint track applicable to all video tracks or do I, in fact, need a hint track per track? Is there a pointer within the hint atom which points to one track in particular?
