Question (short response is OK): - I wasn't paying attention back then (too
busy building actual MPEG-4 product I guess :-) - when/how did MPEG-LA
decide that it got the right to do for MPEG-4 what they do for MPEG-2? Did
they just wake-up one day, file a press-release and turn the lawyers loose?
Did MPEG ask them to take this on?
