MPEG cannot make it available for download now that it is
at Final Draft International Standard Stage.
ISO will start selling the FDIS text as of 20 Sept.

DMIF sits between the application and the transport.
It abstracts the transport layer from the application,
so that the app only needs to have one interface to the
tranport layer. THen through DMIF instances, the app
can talk to e.g. RTP, local disk, broadcast transparently.
