Chandra is right. Another point is that the Visual standard does not 'care'
how the objects are placed in the display, the standard only defines the
requirements or constraints for compatible decoders. For example, the
maximum number of macro blocks per second the decoder has to be able to
decode for certain profile and level. It is the 14496-1 standard that
concentrates on the issues like displaying of objects.

I don't think the restrictions posed by you on the placings of the objects
are valid.
There can even be overlaps of objects!
