[M4IF Technotes] the MPEG 4 reference code from the ISO site.

I am unable to run the MPEG 4 systems reference code on the ISO website due to some registry problem.
If anybody out there has been able to successfully run the code, (ie the sample inputs that comes along with player3D/ scenes), please let me know as to what should be the PROPER REGISTRY CONFIGURATION for running the code.
The tips given for running the application dont seem to be very clear either (for eg:How is the FileTrivInstance.dll supposed to be modified if Im1player is run from a different directory?)
I am neither able to run the IM1 player nor the 3D player.
Please help. This has been driving me crazy for quite some time.
