hello Mr. Gary (you are from Microsoft dont you ;), finally I find you
here ! ;)
yeah, I often found your explanation about MPEG-4 visual with simple
profile level 0 which has "short header" feature.. so that for any media
conforms to it actually same with media in baseline h.263 (no annex)
actually I have the other problem here, I need to read MPEG-4 (MP4S)
data inside an .avi/.asf file, then stream it as h.261 to my client
devices..
I think, I can do that easily using DirectShow library, by reading
the .avi/.asf file using SourceFilter, connect it to Microsoft H.261
Video Codec, .. (then ? I dont know where my graph should go after this ;)
but I never could connect any filter to Microsoft H.261 Video Codec's input
pin .. I have tried many kind of YUV as its input (I420, YV12, YUY2,
YVYU, UYVY) ...
is there some settings should be done before connecting any filter to
Microsoft H.261 Video Codec ? what requirement for using that codec in
our DirectShow application ? any programmer reference for that ?
thanks alot,
