[M4IF Technotes] Media Data Query

Dear All !
As per the standard, there could be more than one 'mdat' atoms in the MP4 file. Is there any info in MP4 file that says which 'mdat' atom corresponds to which track. 
1) Suppose there are 2 tracks (Audio and Video) and 2 'mdat' atoms that contain data for Audio and Video tracks in the MP4 file; now how do I know which 'mdat' atom corresponds to a particular track?
2) There could even be just one 'mdat' atom that may contain data for both the tracks in the MP4 file. In this case either the Auidio data precedes the Video data or vice versa. Here, how do I get this information?
