Please check TS 26.234 specification available at " ftp.3gpp.org/Specs/archive/26_series/26.234". Check the 3GPP file format related sections.
For the AMR storage format syntax, you can check it from RFC 3267 at " http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3267.txt"  <http://www.ietf.org> .

Does any one knows the AMR data format in 3GPP file? Is it AMR Interface Format 1 (AMR IF1) or  AMR Interface Format 2 (AMR IF2) ?  I think, it is AMR IF2 as per TS 26.101.  Can anybody  confirm it?
