Hi Karin -- Olivier Amato has already mentioned our mpegable Player, which
is a stand-alone PC based application that plays MPEG-4 movie files or
network distributed streams. 
In addition to that, we also have mpegable DS decoder, which decodes MPEG-4
audio/video in software applications dupporting DirectShow. With this
software you can watch your MPEG-4 files in Microsoft's Windows Media Player
(6.x upwards).
Both apps are available for download on our website -- www.mpegable.com

Hi!
During my diploma thesis, which is about MPEG-4 I write about MPEG-4 player.
I would like to give an overview over all MPEG-4 players and their
abilities, available on the market by now.
The chapter in my diploma thesis should provide the details about all
players available:
- the name of the player,
- the company which has developed the player + internetsite
- and the internetsite which contains the list of the abilities of the
player (or if there is no internetsite I write down the main abilities)
Maybe you can help me collecting players... or maybe you have a player in
development which should not miss in my overview!
I would be happy about every answer I get, which helps me to complete my
overview!
