[Mp4-tech] de-blocking techniques in MPEG-4

Hello Reeja,
Any post-processing technique you can use at the decoder end as long as 
you are not using this post-processed data for prediction in the 
encoder. MPEG-2 does not provide such de-blocking mechanism. But 
definitely you can do your own post-processing after decoding frames.
