Alf,
Nobody is 'in charge'. Anyone is free to try and set up a pool for AVC
patents, there is no mandate from anyone to be given to anyone to carry out
this job. In this case, two parallel initiatives exist, each with their
licensors.
We'll have to see how this develops. It is good that there is competition.
It will also be good if there is a one-stop shop in the end. Right now, it
will be interesting to look at the terms that have been proposed.
