Dear all,
I have an unknown about mismatch control in MPEG-4 video. As I know, mismatch control is used to avoid mismatch condition of IDCT output between encoder and decoder, while small non-zero input of IDCT may introduce zero output. 14496-2 suggests a rule to do that, which is the same as 13818-2 did. If both encoder and decoder have same processing precision, no such problem occurs, right? Would you please give me an example to explain that? Thanks!
