Hi,
I would like to add a slightly off-topic hint for a better usage of this
list and the other two from MPEGIF (News and Discuss). If you use
Google's "site:" operator after your search terms, only followed by the
domain "lists.mpegif.org", Google will search through the complete list
archive. Example:
pns 256 site:lists.mpegif.org
will lead you to an unanswered question from Mihir Mody (Dec 22, 2023)
about the correct calculation of noise energy for PNS (MID:
F509E6111989D311B63700805FA761DA0B066192 dbde01.itg.ti.com).
This Google option probably is a better method than downloading the 17
MB .mbox file from http://lists.mpegif.org/pipermail/mp4-tech/ (which is
also possible of course). Maybe it would be useful to add it to the list
archive website, too.
ZZee ya, Hans-Jürgen
