MPEG certainly allows this. MPEG Systems does not constrain the number of 
video streams in one program, so you can include as many video streams as 
you want. However, in practice, transport streams need to comply also to 
broadcast specifications defined by bodies such as DVB and ATSC. Whether 
they allow for that is to be checked in the applicable specification. If 
both represent the "main video" there should be some rules when to select 
which one, I guess.

Hi,
could anyone tell me, if it is possible to multiplex a MPEG-2- and a H.264 
(AVC)-videostream together in one programm of a MPEG-2 transportstream?
