[Mp4-tech] About Mpeg4

Hi everyone,
I am doing a thesis on MPEG4 implementation. I wanted to know where i could download a codec for the same that would work on Windows. I would also appreciate if someone could tell me about how to run the codec.
Any kind of help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
