[Mp4-tech] Memory Access Patterns

Hi,
Can somebody give me high level memory access patterns of an Mpeg4 encoder
and decoder? Are there any papers published on mpeg4 memory utilization. I
want to get some information on encoder and decoder's memory behavior, do
they have a long or a short stride when accessing memory.
