[Mp4-tech] streaming application

Hi,
Has any one on the list a first hand experinece of building a streaming application server (using MPEG4 audio and video encoers)? The streaming environment is LAN and the nodes (end clients) are typically the desktop based players like MS Media Player, QT player and Philips player.
We have some difficulties in achieving lip-sync. Appreciate any help or pointers from the members.
