My multimedia backgound is based on SMIL, HTML+Time and therefor I was stuck how to do this. I have to look more into MPEG-21 how to describe Digital Items. Well the limited salability of SMIL,... was something why I wanted to learn more about MPEG-21 I found a project which does more or less what I wanted to do

I visited meanwhile the Dane project page - I'll have to search for the project papers in the specific libraries.
