[Mp4-tech] H.264 Intra Prediction Across Slices

Hi!
   I have a question about whether H.264 allows Intra prediction from 
macroblocks across slice boundaries. I'm not clear about how the mb 
availibility status is defined in 6.4.7.3.  Are macroblocks from a 
different slice considered unavailable?
