Yes, it is possible to implement the functionality these two libraries
provide on your own.
There's currently a 3G-meeting ongoing. If I'm not mistaken, one expected
output of this meeting is a way for people to obtain source code for the
ISO media library.
Source code for the audio file libary will not be available. You may use
any other library that provides the same functionality.
