[Mp4-tech] [Video] [formats] Queries on *.mov

Hi All,
I would like to know if .mov uses any codec other than Sorenson for video? 
Also what are the audio codecs it typically uses. 
Secondly, I would also like to know wheter the atoms have the exact same 
definition as the corresponding atoms in MP4 file format? I found one atom 
'load'. What is this used for?
