Hi,
  It creates syntactically correct TS. Nevertheless, up to version
0.7.2, generated streams didn't complain with the system target decoder
restrictions. I haven't tested later versions.
  However, the TS streams created by VLC are good enough for most of the
cases (unless you use a decoder with a very short input buffer). In fact
we used it extensively without problems.
