Go to <http://www.chiariglione.org/mpeg/> and click on 'technologies'
under 'documents' and you will find white papers etc. on parts 12, 14
and 15 of mpeg-4.
FFMpeg, GPAC, and a number of other projects have implementations of
the file format. In addition, reference code is available from
<http://www.mp4ra.org> on request.
Finally, the full part 12 standard is freely available from ISO.
