It depends on the system environment and what it specifies/requires.
In some environments, CC data is carried in a private data PES stream
(type 0x06). This is common in some DVB environments, and there are DVB
specs on carriage of VBI data that address the requirements for CC.
Other systems carry CC data in User Data SEIs registered under ITU
T.35. This is the required method under SCTE (US Cable) and is also
allowed under DVB specs.

we working on MPEG-2 Transport stream(h264 video + some audio).
how to add closed caption to the Transport stream.
I am not sure whether to add closed caption data as seperate
stream.
what is the value for stream type if closed caption is added as
seperate Pes packet.
which document we have to follow for implementing Closed Caption
?
