[M4IF News] Dolby Laboratories announces MPEG-4 AAC licensing program

Thanks Ramzi,
This is really great news for MPEG-4, and for AAC in general. 
Combined with the excellent performance of MPEG-4 AAC, 
these terms go a long way towards getting MPEG-4 AAC established 
as a universally adopted standard for high quality and high efficiency 
generic audio compression.
I am also pleased to see that the license will be available next month. 
Of course I still have things on my wish list: MPEG-4 AAC in itself 
is not a Profile, so a little more work would be needed to be able to get a 
one-stop license for a true MPEG-4 conformance point. 
This announcement, however, constitutes a major leap in that direction!
