sorry to respond late to this thread, just noticed --
Our company (On2 technologies) has an audio codec dubbed "AVC". I think
it would be best to avoid names that could cause market confusion.
Seems like "MPEG-4 part 10" is being used commonly -- why it can't just be
MPEG-10 I don't know, that seems easier to remember.
