Thank you all for your help. Here is my ideas:
about the video of mpeg-4, the encoder of mpeg4ip,
both xvid and ISO compliant one, and the encoder of QT
Pro, are all ISO compliant, just different algorithms,
different profiles. right?
about the audio encoder, it's my mistake to not using
the -r option in faac command. I tried
  faac -m4 -pLC -r -b96 *.wav *.aac 
and it works:)
And David, I'm not clear about your idea of WAV
importer handling files with MPEG-4 AAC embedded in
them, what kind of example do you need? how to embed
an AAC file in WAV?
