[Mp4-tech] half pel full pel

Hi all,
No links to the half pel full pel thing yet. 
I am using a library which taked motion compensation type
as one input to implement SAD. It says it is for half pel full pel in hz and vertical directions.
I hope I am not bothering you all with a lot of basic question s.
