[M4IF Technotes] MPEG-4 compliant video and image formats

Hello!
Could anyone tell me which are the compliant video and image formats standardized in the mpeg-4 standard?
or does anyone know a document where I can find out about that?
I found out some formats that should be MPEG-4 compliant...
for video:
m4v (= cmp)
mpeg 1 und 2
for images:
jpeg, gif, png
Is this correct? are there missing some formates?
