Hey All,
Good news regarding the MoMuSys codec!!
I managed to get it compiled for MS Windows thanks to some invaluable help
from a colleague of mine in UCD (cheers, Mikhail!!). Therefore I would like
to post the codec on my website, but first of all can someone tell me if
there are any copyright restrictions that I may be in breach of if I do
this. If there is copyright issues, is it ok to put it up with a
disclaimer?
In relation to my previous posts about error resiliance, the MoMuSys decoder
does support it in any tests I've done so far, while the MS decoder does
not.
Also, I have added a section to my website (http://delboy.ucd.ie) that
contains the reference yuv sequences (with thumbnails'n'all :o) ). It is in
the 'research' and then 'downloads' section of the site. I think the
collection is fairly comprehensive and it contains the reference sequences
(though not the impaired ones) from phase 1 of the VQEG test. I would like
to thank Arthur Webster, Phil Blanchfield and Phillip Corriveau for their
help and advice on hosting some of the VQEG sequences. The other clips on
the site were ones I have collected throughout my research to date.
Hope someone finds this useful,
Regards,
Stef
